A lot has gone on.......

Well, in true Kayla fashion, I have totally sucked at updating this thing. Between traveling for work, working late, kids, kids' activities (you get the picture) I have had no time to update. So- on this beautiful Saturday morning I have decided to lock myself in my office and finally post something (please note, the kids are banging on the door for me to let them in and I can hear Noah chucking a princess wand at Cali in the midst of all of this- so my apologies if this isn't detailed)

For starters, a couple of weeks ago I met Kelsey and princess Delia at the Miller Park Zoo in Bloomington. It was a very fun day- although Kelsey may beg to differ. Things to note from the day:

1) Cali wanted to ride with Kelsey and Delia in the soccer mom van to the zoo. Sounded like a good idea until Noah decided that he wanted to ride with them as well. This involved transferring like 18 suitcases from Kelsey's van into my truck, loading and reloading my big freaking stroller to try to fit in her precious "van cargo, floor storage" (whatever she calls it), switching car seats (which is an ordeal in itself). Lets just say it was at least a 30 minute episode before we left the parking lot.

2) My double stroller is considerably bigger than a wheelchair (if I'm wrong on this, I am suing the zoo for not having proper wheelchair accessible doors)

3) It is amazing my kids haven't been to the emergency room more than they have. Example: Noah and Cali were in the stroller......Noah was trying to get out of the stroller........Kayla was pulling the stroller down to try to keep him in......Cali was jumping out......Noah was getting run over by the stroller.....etc. You could see the stress seeping out of Kelsey in the midst of all of this

4) Kelsey had to drive my truck home (with no kids). She said it was either that or popping a couple of zolofts to drive the three of them home. Needless to say, there was not a quiet moment on the 45 min drive home (but that's what makes it exciting :)
