Tonight we took a trip to the North Pole to visit Santa. We went to the Wabash Depot in Monticello and hopped on the Polar Express. It was truly just like the book. People were singing and dancing in the isles, they passed out hot chocolate, the conductor punched your ticket with your initials in it, etc. The music from the movie was playing in the background and we rode up the tracks and read the Polar Express book. Then, Santa jumped on and handed out bells to to all the kids that rode. I had three kids that were screaming, fighting, and crying for three hours leading up to it, but I will say the pure joy and excitement on each of their faces went Santa came on was well worth every second of it :) I will definitely be making this a family tradition!
Other exciting news: I am taking Cali and Noah to go pick out a REAL TREE tomorrow :) I am SOOOOOO excited about it. Although, one of my customers informed me tonight that I have to water the S.O.B. everyday!?! I only have time to update my blog once a month; God knows I don't have time to freaking babysit a tree.
