I have a kid old enough to be playing soccer!? That should be illegal in itself!! Anyways...yes, Cali had her first soccer practice tonight and she did AWESOME!!! She was such a good listener and never muttered the words...."I hate you", "I quit" or "you're the worst" :) Total success in my book. She has a neighbor boy on her team, and I think she was really excited about that! Even better, she found out that her BFF Sidney plays soccer too!! :)
I couldn't believe how into it she was (of course, in true Cali fashion she was really more concerned with her outfit she wore there than the actual game). Overall, she had a really good time and is pretty excited about her next practice on Thursday!!
To celebrate afterwards, I took them to DQ and Cali got to order (which she thinks is a treat in itself:) It only took her ten minutes to get out our order. You could see a few people inside laughing and giving her the thumbs up :) Job well done tonight Cali.......
(I just love the picts! Of course she had to pose in like 15 freaking pictures before we even left for the soccer fields. She's such a diva :)
